When you say your considering a pivot toward NOK and CHF, would that mean leaving USD and CAD?
The move I'm making these days is not really "going on offense" and opening up a long EURUSD position, but more of a rebalancing of the currency sub-accounts in my investment account from USD and CAD to increasingly CHF and NOK. Depending on how things go I may eventually have no USD not CAD any longer.
It's more of a defensive move actually, where I diversify away from these winners into longer-term-stable currencies.
When I see a sustainable pivot I intend to straight up open longs in probably EUR / GBP / JPY vs. USD, depending on where these trade today.
Note that when that happens, gold, "cash", bond / bond proxies (and a long etc.) will look very attractive, too. A lot of these trades will be different expressions of the same thing.
Understood and thank you for your response! I can see you care about what you're doing or you wouldn't take the time to, not only read comments, but actually respond! Looking forward to more!
